Horizontal Grinder :

Here is a long-platen horizontal edge grinder I made for straightening long edges, such as the edges of swords, sword sheaths, et cetera. It uses a two horsepower three phase motor running on single-phase 220v power via a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). Like many other tools in my shop, this one is variable speed. It runs 4 inch X 120 inch belts, across a platen that is more than 40 inches long.
