Surface Belt Grinder:

This is one of the most important tools in my shop. It's a belt sander I built on a surface grinder platform. It runs the same 2 X 72 inch belts used by my Bader BIII grinder, but can also use smaller two-inch belts if that's what's handy. The tracking system is identical (but in reverse) to the excellent Bader design and I have never had to adjust the tracking. This unit is excellent for flattening and finishing rough damascus billets quickly.
