Little Giant Power Hammer:

This is a 50-pound Little Giant power hammer built in 1925. It's a powerful tool that required a great deal of work to restore. It weighs about 1,800 pounds and is mounted on a 3/4 inch steel plate base that's isolated from the floor with 1 1/4 inch rubber (horse trailer liner) and 3/4 inch plywood. There are also two rubber-isolated mounts set into the concrete floor to keep the machine from "walking". I use this machine almost exclusively for planishing.
